Wyatt had his 4 month appointment this week.  He weighed in at a whopping 17lb, 25 inches; both in the 90% for boys.  Just for comparison - Maggie weighed 18lbs on her first birthday! And no, I haven’t been sneaking him candy bars at night.  I just started him on cereal a couple weeks […]

*“Time to Move On” by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Maggie and Wyatt both like listening to this CD. It’s kind of funny to watch Maggie dance while it’s playing and watch Wyatt watch her dancing. Anyway, the song continues, “What lies ahead, I have no way of knowing/ But under my feet, bad grass […]

As you may have noticed from some of the pictures posted in the last couple of days, Maggie and I went to the Daniel Dopps 4th Annual Memorial Rodeo here in Mountain Home last Saturday night. It was a good time overall, though there was something that got to me.

Wyatt actually sleeps!  I got 6 hours of sleep during each of the last 2 nights - incredibly amazing when you consider what I went through with Maggie!  Maggie never slept - I think it was 9 months until I got 7 hours of sleep.  Wyatt has been such a good baby - albeit only […]

It’s hard to be an angel

Posted on January 28, 2009 - Filed Under Uncategorized | 3 Comments

Jason and I take turns putting Maggie to bed for the night. We usually read 4 books and kiss her goodnight.  I always say, “Goodnight Angel-baby.” Sometimes she falls asleep immediately and other time she is a bit slower.  Tonight, it was my turn to read and put Maggie to sleep.  We said our good-nights […]

Maggie and the Leapster

Posted on January 19, 2009 - Filed Under Uncategorized | 1 Comment

My brother bought the Leapster L-Max, a small portable video player, for Maggie when she was one year old.  Maggie, being to young to understand the concept of video games, had no interest in game player until last week. Two Saturday’s ago Jason and I started hypnobirthing classes, a new age childbirth technique.  We got […]
