I know you thought there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Sadly, for you, they were never found. Well, I have good news for you: We have some here in our tiny little community. I would say that you’re welcome to come get them but I think they’ve already been destroyed. I hope you don’t use this as an excuse to invade our town. We don’t have any oil here and no one here has ever made a fool of your father, so I really don’t think it would be justified. Then again, that didn’t seem to make a difference in ‘03.”

Actually, George Sr. did the commencement speech at Warren Wilson College when he as VP in the late 80’s. Not sure how it happened, but legend has it that it was a joke, and Bush Sr. didn’t know he was going to a hippy school. Some joker planted a fake bomb in one of the nearby dorms. Of course, this was back when this wouldn’t have triggered the DHS to track you down and throw you in a prison that doesn’t exist.
I can’t believe WW would invite him, nor that everyone on his staff failed to research the school and ascertain it’s general orientation. I’m sure many in the crowd were blown away and maybe a bit disappointed to be listening to him for their commencement. A prison that doesn’t exist…that’s pretty funny
