There’s something magical about it

It’s surely a purely Western thing and it’s kind of artificial, but there’s something undeniably wonderful about watching a child on a ride at an amusement park. Erin and I were lucky enough to be along last Monday when little Ryan was able to enjoy his first ride on one. I actually felt a little honored to be there; it’s not often one is able to witness the ‘first’ of something. And this wasn’t just anything…it was probably the beginning of a long life enjoying the fun of being thrilled and the joy of the wind through his hair.
