Random updates

We have been busy preparing for our move to Idaho. The living room just got painted and it looks fabulous. I am not sure why we didn’t paint it 2 years ago! Oh well, live and learn. There is a gallon of paint left over and I like the color so much that the extra can is coming with us on our move.
Maggie has been terribly fussy with gas the last couple weeks - I am thinking it has something to do with my breakfast cereal so I’m going to give that up for a while. Plus, she gets so cranky when she’s tired. Luckly I am starting to notice a schedule emerge with her so I am getting better at predicting when she needs a nap. Last week we started using the baby tub for her bath and she loves it! Jason and I have always given her a bath together - it is just more fun that way. She will be 3 months old tomorrow.
We have sold the house to some folks down the street. We are under contract now and should have the whole process finished by the beginning of July. These folks buy houses, do a little work and then sell them to make a little profit. Jason and I might have been able to make a little more on the market but we would have had to deal with the stress of a real estate agent, open house, keeping this place spotless, daily showing, putting the cats away, leaving the house, and potentially having to move into a hotel for a couple weeks before we move . An incentive with this deal was we get to stay here rent free until we leave in September.
I have enjoyed going to the gym. Its been nice having an hour to myself while someone else watches the Magpie. Off to New Mom’s Group tomorrow!

it is good you don`t have to deal with a realtor. no fun loading up animals and kids to show a house. I remember when we did it ,James was 4 and you were 1. guess we were younger then and didn`t seem so hard.
That one hour a mommy time makes all the differance in the world and return to baby feeling refreshed and ready to start again. congrats on the sale of the house I know that takes some stress off during this busy transition for you. Ryan surgery was Tuesday glad its over hes recovering well. Cant wait to see you all soon!!!
