New Mom’s Group

This morning Maggie and I went to the New Mom’s Group at Susan’s house. There were 3 other moms & babies there today. Maggie has become so much more aware & interactive with her suroundings this past week so I was hoping she would stay awake long enough to interact with the other babies. She fell asleep on the car ride there but I woke her up when I got settled at Susan’s house. Maggie immediately took to watching Lilly (7 month old). I sat Maggie down on the floor facing Lilly. I gave Maggie a little back support becuause she isn’t quite able to sit up on her own yet. Maggie and Lilly interacted almost the entire hour & half at Susan’s. Lilly would ‘talk’ to Maggie and reach out her arms and Maggie would smile at her and try to immitate her actions. It was so cute. I thought Maggie would be worn out enough to sleep when we got home but she is wide awake, sitting in her chair talking to me and waving her arms.
