It’s hard to be an angel

Posted on January 28, 2009 - Filed Under Uncategorized

Jason and I take turns putting Maggie to bed for the night. We usually read 4 books and kiss her goodnight.  I always say, “Goodnight Angel-baby.” Sometimes she falls asleep immediately and other time she is a bit slower.  Tonight, it was my turn to read and put Maggie to sleep.  We said our good-nights and  I when downstairs to feed the cats.  Maggie was still awake when I came back upstairs so I went into her room to say good-night again.  After I do that, Maggie whispers softly to me, “It’s hard to be an angel.”  I hardly hear her so I ask her to repeat what she said, “It’s hard to be an angel, sometimes.” She then quickly falls asleep. It was so darn cute I had to blog about it!
