Life flying by at superman speed…

It’s another busy week. Jason is working late into the evening every night. Graduation is Thursday for another class. Saturday I went to a baby shower. I actually won a couple girly items from playing silly baby shower games. Then it was off to a birthday party for my neighbor’s daughter. Jason, Maggie and I had a really good time. Unfortunately it took all Sunday for me to recover from having too much fun. Jason took Maggie to church in the morning. Substitute teaching jobs have been sporadic. I am not working as much as I thought I would be, which I guess is okay becuase I really don’t like it very much. It is way to chaotic for me. I think I will stick with college students.
This morning Maggie refused to get dressed for school. We fought for about an hour until I bribed her. The bribe did not work, however, for wearing socks and shoes so she left this cool morning barefooted. I think she is part polar bear because in addition to hating to wear clothes she refuses to use a blanket at night. She also hates me doing anything to her unmanageable hair. I try to put it up in a cute bow or band - forget it! She screams at me and yanks it out. Ugh! So frustrating! She has her school pictures on Thursday so maybe Crystal or Jane, her teachers, can do something with her hair. According them Maggie is a perfect little angel at school. I am thinking that a devil costume with angel wings and a halo held up by horns would be quite fitting for her this Halloween.
