Who’s in charge here?

Here’s an article which adds another wrinkle or two to the debate over mountain lions and general predation issues. If you’re wondering why you should care, well, it’s a very interesting question, one that is very difficult to answer effectively. (I will resist the temptation to get ‘preachy’ about how we all should care about nature, how the Earth is our home and we should care for it, about how the animals, trees, lakes, clouds were all here much before any of us were, about how we should try to understand nature before we say it stands in the way of our ‘progress’ and therefore destroy it…wait, I’m preaching, aren’t I?) I mean, what should we do?
