Ah, the new year is here…

I know I should write more blog entries. I am just constantly busy & really haven’t been good at time management since Maggie arrived. Jason and I brought in the New Year watching TV. At least we were awake! On New Years Eve 1999 we feel asleep at 11:40pm. I don’t really have any specific New Year’s resolution this year. I guess I just haven’t had the time to think about me. I am not complaining just stating a fact. I got a sewing machine, some money, socks and an airline gift card for Christmas this year. I’m hoping this year I will learn how to sew baby clothes for Maggie and maybe even try to make some clothes for myself. I suppose I could use that as my New Year’s resolution.
Wilson still has his allergies. His ears have cleared up but he is still missing hair on his body and just yesterday decided to pull all the hair out of his left paw pad leaving it a bald & bloody. Nobody ever tells you what a pain the ass animals can be to keep healthy. I still can’t get over the fact that dogs have allergies. Poor Wilson.
I was on the internet looking for information on baby classes for Maggie and came across another couple’s blog. They just had a baby and are blogging about their life just like us. If anyone is interested in checking them out their names are Kevin and Renee and new daughter Kennedy. Website is www.kevinandrenee.com/babynews/ They seem like a pretty cool couple. They have 5 dogs, live in Boise & like to vacation. I thought it might be fun check up on someone else’s journey for a while.
Maggie is getting her 5 & 6th tooth. She doesn’t seem to interested in walking yet. She loves bath time again. I am slowly decorating her room in girly pink much to Jason’s dismay. She is still a Mama’s girl but I think that is about to change into Daddy’s girl. When Jason comes home from work she crawls to him to be picked up and held. She also like to follow him around the house. She is already starting to be mischievous. When we tell her “No Maggie” she screams with laughter. Ah, yes, totally looking forward to the terrific two’s!

You loved to sew as a little girl, we talked recently about the toy sewing machine you got for your birthday. I remember buying sll sorts of material, you certainly do not have an inherited ability from your mother, but great-grandmother Rice was a beautiful sewer. I just remembered that asd a child she would make pretty velvet dresses for me.
Good luck with the sewing machine. I think thats sounds great I would love to learn as well however I have never touched one in all my life. My mom sewed a bit when I was young Halloween and other special events but never taught me. Its sorta a family joke beacuse I dont sew or iron (unless absolutly needed) Keep me updated. I hear with all the new technology you can have a sewing machine a barely do anything.
