Boo-who

You know, the other instructors and I were told when we were in Montgomery that the first six months of being in this position were going to be like trying to get a drink from a fire hose. I thought that might have been an exaggeration; actually, it turns out that is a perfect description. I cannot believe how incredibly busy I have been. Every day is a new adventure in cramming too much into a too-short timeframe. Most days, in fact, I can’t get it all done: I can’t get all the work done, spend the right amount time with Maggie and Erin, have almost no time for myself, and obviously have not been able to write anything here in a long time. I am looking forward, somewhat, to the end of next week because it’s when we head to FL for Christmas. I say sort of because that is going to be an incredibly long day: We leave Boise at 7am and don’t arrive in FL until 8pm. Kind of like today–no less than a 13 hour day (of just work…that doesn’t include what I am doing now). Can I get some sympathy from someone, please? Just kidding.

No sympathy from me buddy…. You can get a lot of envy though. Let’s not forget about your last job and how rewarding and fulfilling that was (yeah right). Not to mention how busy you stayed (yeah right again). Every day when I wake up to go to work at AFCCC, I get extremely excited. I hate Fridays b/c that means I have to wait two days before I can return to my awesome job. Mondays are the best. Of course I wish all this was true. What can I say… I’m jealous. I hope you guys are doing well. Talk to you later.
