There’s an excellent little piece over at WikiHow on how to reduce our dependence on consumerism (which used to be mostly a Western problem). It effectively sums up what people mean by the idea of living simply. In my humble opinion, I can think of few other ideas more important and more worth implementing than most of the overarching ones in the article.
