In kind of a wierd state of flux

Posted on October 21, 2006 - Filed Under Uncategorized

Being that Mtn Home is such a small town, there isn’t a lot of wireless internet availability, hence the lack of posts/pictures this week. It’s pretty much limited to two places, a coffee shop and a place across the street which is basically a beer store. As it turns out, the former says they have wifi but it doesn’t work. The beer store’s network is accessible from here, so I have to use their’s.

Anyhow, once we get settled into our own place, we will be able to establish our own access at home. No, we haven’t found a place yet. We waiting on the provided housing but it could still be a little while. Most of the housing is pretty nice, so I guess in the end it’s worth waiting for, but it’s still a hassle. We are renting a little house in town; it’s okay and meets our needs.

We’ve been driving around town, getting to know the local area. We drove to Boise yesterday. It’s seems to be a nice city. We would like to maybe live there (we realize we’ve only been here for a week, so it’s way too early to judge) but won’t even consider it until having lived a year here.

I hate to make this so short…stay tuned…and check out the 12 new pictures I just put up.

Hey Guys, I got your postcard and of course shared with the office! Maggie is so cute and is looking just like Erin! Glad to hear you made it okay to Idaho. Sorry to hear that you only have Walmart for shopping! Heehee Haha!!!
I guess you will be driving aways to do your shopping. Everything is the same here at work (busy busy). Steve, Wesley, and I went on vacation to Arizona earlier this month. It was great! Other than that, things are pretty quiet. I hope you get base housing soon. Thankfully it’s nice. Y’all take care and e-mail us. Our home e-mail is onechunk@citcom.net. Miss you! Karen

I checked out the photos of Erin’s new haircut and it is fabulous! She should have done that a long time ago. I love it! Also, is there a general place on your webpage for us to post comments or can we only post to your blog entries? Just want to make sure you are seeing our comments. Chat with you later. Karen
