Just a little spooky

I’m not a person who believes in signs or any such divine communication. However, there are times when things happen, things that some might call pure coinicidence, which seem beyond the realm of chance. For instance, the area code here is 828; the prefix, i.e. the first three digits in a phone number, where we will be living is also 828. Think about this for a minute: There are literally hundreds (probably thousands) of different number combinations used in the U.S. Add to that the facts that we live here, in this place with this area code, and we are moving to Idaho, to a place which uses that prefix. I would really like to know the mathematical odds but that would take quite a while to calculate. Needless to say, it’s quite unlikely and therefore, kind of amazing to me that this would be coincidence. Maybe, just maybe, someone or something is attempting to communicate with us. What is it, I wonder, they are trying to say?

honestly jason i think that you are probably just reading into that a little too much…. look at it this way now maybe you wont have to change your phone number? i dont know just doubt that it is divine communication….
I have to admit–I’m kind of surprised at this, coming from you. Besides that, isn’t it nice to wonder sometimes at the magic that may be behind the happenings in our lives? Like I said in the post, I just like to sit around and wonder about the statistical odds.
